does the job but an overall poor quality product Nov 18, 2009

Keeps things hot or cold as advertised. On that front, this product does its job, and does it very well. However, the poor overall quality of this bottle is awful. The inner cap leaks, and that is just about the worst thing you could ask for in any water bottle (cheap plastic one time use bottled water holds liquid tighter than this thing). Also, the outer cap, the part that you can use as a cup, consists of an inner plastic lining and an outer metal cover. After about 2 weeks of use, these two sections came apart on me (most likely because I was screwing it tight with so much force due to the leaking). When they came apart, I saw that they were glued together very haphazardly with hot glue or something similar. I heard that siggs were suppose to be top quality and I am incredibly disappointed with this product. Its an awful feeling to bike around and wonder if hot coffee has spilled all over my books and notes. DO NOT BUY. If you buy sigg, get a ring top.

Bad customer service with Sigg USA Oct 07, 2009
By Monique Pelletier Ordered this product from Amazon Sept 2009. When I received the order the inner and outer cap were separated. I emailed Sigg USA and received a response a few days later with mailing instructions on how to return the cap for a replacement. I sent it out Sept 14, and as of Oct 7, still have not received a replacement and have contacted them by email twice and called once. Do not buy unless you are willing to throw out a product if it id not usable. I have contacted Sigg Corporate and also will work with Amazon to try to resolve this issue. However, a lot of work for a thermos my son needs for school now.

I like it's design, both color and size. The best part is that it holds hot water for several hours.

By J. P. Davis This bottle works very well. It's almost as good as the older glass Thermos bottles.

I was shocked - I put boiling water in, and 10 hours later it was still quite hot to the touch! Excellent compact size, fits easily in the side pocket of a backpack.
