Handy Little Bottle Aug 03, 2009
By M. Foster I did quite a bit of research and comparison before buying my first SIGG bottle. I wanted to get away from using plastic throw-away and re-usable bottles for environmental and health reasons. SIGG makes nice products -- and lots of them! The number of color, size and design options is impressive. I went with the Samurai Spirit 20oz (0.6L) as my first purchase.
The threading on the lip is great and offers a nice fit (no leaks). The finger loop (or clip loop) is a nice comfortable size for portability. Be prepared for sweat on the bottle if you are taking it out of the fridge on a warm day. The aluminum bottle is not insulated so it starts beading up quickly and will leave a nice puddle or two on whatever surface it rests upon.
The 20 oz. bottle is actually small -- 2.75 inches in diameter, 8.5 inches in height from base to the top of the stopper and a smidge under 9 inches in circumference.
My only wish-list request is that SIGG make more water bottles out of stainless steel (rather than aluminum). I would like to purchase a 32oz version for hikes (the 20oz is for the gym) but am not terribly keen on drinking from aluminum. In all my research I managed to overlooked the material construction of my 20oz before making my purchase.

What you'd expect from a Sigg. Jul 07, 2009
By Kim I love my Sigg bottle! This one particularly attracted me because of the awesome red color, although in the picture that Amazon has up, I could not tell clearly what was printed on the front. It ended up being a Samurai riding into battle on his horse. There are also 2 decals of a dragon and tiger fighting each other, both are in silver.

All in all, I love the design, and it's a Sigg bottle so you can't really go wrong :)
