Great alternative to Plastic! Feb 18, 2008
By S. Dahl SIGG makes great aluminum products that are fantastic alternatives to plastic. This "lunch box" is lightweight, airtight, and compact. It makes a great stash place for lunch, snacks while in the car, camping, skiing etc. Very easy to clean. Though a little pricey, treat it well and it will be with you for years to come.

My husband got the blue metallic Sigg Midi aluminum box for his lunch, and really likes it. He says it's very lightweight, has an incredible seal once latched shut, and is just all-around awesome. This is a really good way to keep from leaching plastic into your food. I wouldn't put it in the microwave though - seems like an obvious recommendation, but sometimes we humans act first and then realize after that we should have known better.
One thing to know is that the "blue metallic" color is exactly the color it is onscreen - between a light turquoise and a middling sky blue. In my opinion it's a bit of a feminine color, and I think the husband thinks so too but won't admit it - he said he thought it would be a darker blue than it is. So just know that it's a pretty light blue.
Very Good in Silver May 03, 2010
By Robert John Webb Looks great in silver but more importantly it holds my simple lunch in the briefcase so that I can avoid eating the crap in most airports.
love it! Apr 17, 2010

It is great for holding sandwiches, and as it's lightweight, makes it great for the back pack!

not worth the price, don't try to force the clip, it will bend and never close again.
