There is another cap, made by Sigg, that you have to exert pressure on while drinking to make it work. I do NOT like that other top. This top is perfect - you can lock it to prevent leaks when traveling, and if it's open it is easy to use. LOVE IT! My son and I both have this kind of top for our Sigg bottles, and use these tops exclusively.

This is the best top Sigg offers. It's easier to use than the other sports top and the water flows out faster too. The price is a bit high for such a small piece of plastic.

So far the cap itself has met my expectations. It's easy to use: just twist to lock or unlock, and pull to open. Only drawbacks from the cap is it looks unnatural on a sigg classic bottle, probably looks better on a sports bottle.

The original "sports top" that comes with the Sigg bottles is pretty cumbersome to deal with, especially while exercising. This one is easy to use-- all Sigg sports bottles should come with this top!

Love these caps. Have a number of Sigg bottles and have not had good luck with the other drinking caps as they leak. Have replaced all my family's bottles and mine with these caps.
