Functions beautifully May 14, 2010
My, uh, dog ate my Klean Kanteen cap. Not kidding! So I hopped on Amazon and got a new one in like two days that is exactly like the one that came with the c(k)anteen. Seals perfectly, dishwasher friendly, etc. I imagine that with your Klean Kanteen, you will have to replace the cap every once in awhile, and this would be the one to get. I agree that it's hard to open if your hands are at all slippery, but it's still easier to open than the flat one. Klean Kanteen forever!

When the cap for my wife's Kleen Kanteen ended up destroyed in the garbage disposal (oops!), I came to Amazon to find a replacement. This is exactly what I expected: a replacement loop cap that fits the Klean Kanteen water bottles.

I bought 2 bottles for my boys to take to school every day with their lunch. At first I bought the pop up tops, but they did leak a little, so I came back and bought these tops and they work like a charm. My 8 year old has no problem opening them and they do Not leak at all!

I just recently picked up a WaterU Stainless Steel water bottle at Bed, Bath, and Beyond but didn't like the
"sport valve" that came with it. I just wanted a loop cap that would make it leakproof. I picked up this cap at the local REI and it fits great!

I bought a new KK water bottle, it came with a cheesy plastic cap. I was NOT happy. Where was my metal cap??? I even sent a scathing email to Klean Kanteen. (they replied immediately by the way)

It only took me one or two uses to realize I love them! So, I bought three more caps to replace all my metal ones.
