What's Not to Love? Oct 27, 2008
By Ullie I have to make my son's lunch every day, and I needed an insulated bottle that is small enough to fit into the lunch bag, that will absolutely NOT leak, that won't contaminate his drink with chemicals leaching out of plastic, that I can clean easily and reuse pretty much indefinitely. These stainless steel bottles elegantly solve all of these requirements, come in a wide selection of sizes (you choose your preferred cap style) and help the planet! What's not to love?

Best Sippy Cup Jun 30, 2008
By EStylie I have tried multiple sippy cups. This is the best overall sippy cup that I have found. Not only does it not leach chemicals like the plastic ones but the stainless steele keeps the liquid cold for hours. I have several Thermos Foogo sippy cups which at first I loved but now have all started leaking. I would stick with this one. Plus you can change out the adapter for a regular top once your child is past the sippy cup stage. So its better for the environment and your wallet. The only downside is having to hand wash it. So buy a few spare ones so you always have one ready to go!

My son loves this as a sippy Apr 30, 2008
By Tara Nicholson It doesn't get 5 stars because, as per the prior review, yes, I do experience that this sippy leaks. It has more to do with the avent mouth piece than the Klean Kanteen adaptor, and nothing to do with the bottle. I have both the Foogo and KK, the Klean Kanteen with the sippy top does not put air in the beverage and my son is less gassy. The Foogo does make bubbles. And even though my son is 13 months now, he gets nipple confusion with the soft tip of the Foogo, and thinks he can gnaw on me like that too!! The slight leaking from the KK is not worrisome enough to me. It's only a few drops here and there, and the trade off is worth it.
Excellent product Sep 15, 2008
By C. L. Adams I love these canteens!! They are perfect for every occasion. I use the 12oz bottle for my just waking up drink in the morning. The tote is just ok. Its very hard to get on/off and sits too far up on the canteen for easy drinking. Some improvement is needed there.
I love our toddler Kleeen Kanteen Aug 21, 2008

I recently bought KK for the whole family and we all love them. Our 1 year old loves her baby version of the drinking bottle. We had the Foogo and though it works, the dual part silicone valve and the top were difficult to wash and if not properly aligned leaked like there wasn't a valve at all. The Avent top has a one silicone piece valve which works flawlessly without fussing with perfect placement. Plus the fact that they are AVENT means you can replace for very little money and trouble from any drugstore that stocks the stuff. We like that when she gets older we can switch out the top for the sports cap, which she knows how to use already.
Our only caveat is this would not have been suitable for a first sippy cup when we started sippies - our baby was 8 months old as it is a bit large. A wonderful inexpensive cup we still use is the First Years Take and Toss - small, cheap, light, dishwasher safe, multipak and the cap is one piece!
